These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the Lucidly app. By using the app, you agree to these terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Lucidly. By using the app, you confirm you meet this requirement. Users under 18 should have permission from a parent or guardian.

2. Your Account

You are responsible for keeping your account secure and for any activity that occurs under it. If you suspect unauthorised access, contact founder@getlucidly.app immediately.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use Lucidly for any unlawful purpose
• Submit recordings that are abusive, threatening, or violate the rights of others
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, hack, or disrupt the service
• Use automated tools to scrape or access content from the app
• Impersonate any person or entity

4. Subscriptions and Payments

Lucidly offers a free tier and a paid Pro subscription. All payments are processed through the Apple App Store and are subject to Apple's payment terms.

• Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Subscriptions can be managed or cancelled in your Apple ID account settings.
• Refunds are handled through Apple's standard refund policy.

5. Your Content

You own the recordings and content you submit. By using Lucidly, you grant a limited licence to process your recordings for the purpose of generating practice feedback. Your content is never sold or used to train AI models without explicit consent.

6. Intellectual Property

All content in the Lucidly app — including the curriculum, questions, coaching techniques, design, and code — is the property of Lucidly and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, distribute, or create derivative works from this content without written permission.

7. AI-Generated Feedback

Feedback in Lucidly is generated by AI and is intended for practice and self-improvement only. It is not professional advice. Accuracy is not guaranteed.

8. Disclaimers

The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. No guarantee is made that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that any particular outcome will result from using it.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Lucidly shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.

10. Termination

Accounts that violate these Terms may be suspended or terminated. You may delete your account at any time by contacting founder@getlucidly.app. Your data will be handled as described in the Privacy Policy.

11. Changes to These Terms

These Terms may be updated from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via the app. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
